Óscar Guzmán Mendez
Graduate student, PhD
Interests: Design and synthesis of new types of organic chromophores and the theoretical and experimental studies of their excited state dynamics In his free time, Oscar can be found catching the latest live stream of rhythmic gymnastics and/or being scandalized by Jesus and blessing (his words not ours) us with his singing.
Francisco Reza
Graduate student, PhD
Interests: Developing synthetical methodologies of NIR photoactive compounds and photochemistry. He enjoys playing the guitar and playing chess.
Mariana Mejía Reza
Graduate student, MSc.
Interests: Her main interests involve non-linear optics, cavity design and being disapproving. In her free time, Mariana can be found making fun of everybody…she calls it character building.
Melissa Bravo Romero
Graduate student, MSc.
Interests: Studying the dinamics of the excited states of different molecular systems consisting of a two-photon absorpting antenna and an isomerizable actuator moeity. From the access to a superior excited estate of the antenna section and a consequential energy transfer to the actuator, which would induce the indirect isomerization of the actuator. In her free time, you can find Melissa watching Jojos Bizarre adventure or rocking it out to Pearl Jam
